A non-profit, 100% donation and foster based dog rescue dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of dogs of all sizes.

WGBR is dedicated to rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of all dogs. We focus on Large and Giant Breed dogs but also the small dogs that have the giant hearts.

Relieve animals in distress and animal suffering from overpopulation and/or abandonment. Provide for the care, maintenance and rehabilitation of stray, abandoned and displaced animals. Be a leader on matters that promote and improve the welfare of all animals through enhancement, protection, care, education, and advocacy.

WGBR takes pride at the time and effort we put into our dogs. We fully ensure that whichever dog, no matter the history, is placed in a home that suits him/her best and at the same time, we ensure the adopting family receives a dog that meets their requirements as well.

Although we are a smaller rescue, WGBR is committed to helping dogs in need, we focus on helping the northern communities and owners in need of surrendering their dogs.
